Last page of part #2..

--

Automated update, as I'm out of town and offline, it's smarter to not be around when Big Bad enters the scene on a short vacation right now. I'll be back tomorrow evening, then I'll catch up on comics, reading and commenting. See you :D

I just got back from vacation too. You probably had a better time than Alph is having. Things look to keep getting worse for the poor guy.

Welcome back :D

I so definitely had a better time than Alph, no invasion like that in Piedmont, and even though there was a lot of wine to drink, we were able to handle it without getting any bad hangovers ;D

Yes, things keep on getting worse for Alph, and for everybody else...

Oh wow, you know for a while there I though things were looking up for Alph and Koordinar what with the vice-president getting his. But there you go...

Part #2 was so great! I really had me at emotional ups and downs the whole way through. The pacing of Koordinar is perfect. High speed sci-fi mystery/drama at it's best. I was worried that I'd be a bit lost when I'd been away for a while but nope, picked it right up.

And being able to get right back into it with so much going on means that you as an author have done an excellent job with the readbility. =)

I fear this is just the beginning.. it may sound cliche, but yes- things will get way worse than they are right now.

Wow thank you :D
I'm happy to hear the storytelling and pacing worked well. There has been some complaints about it being too compressed, fragmented and hard to read, but maybe it all boils down to taste and/or what one is used to :))

It probably has to do with taste. I don't find the style too compressed. But I also suspect I'm used to an older/other style of comic.

Personally, I don't mind at all and feel like you've done such an excellent job grounding the story in my mind and that is why I had no problem picking up after being away for a while. =)

That's great to hear :))

Yes, I'm pretty used to that too, there's the rather compressed narration style of the western print comics grew up with. And, a 20 page comic with a lot of stuff going on feels more satisfying than 20 pages with almost nothing happening at all ;)
I guess the thing is, when it's well done the reader doesn't really notice how compressed the plot actually is, there's only the positive experience that they got a lot of story to enjoy.

At the other hand however, I've noticed that by making the plot too compressed, a lot of potential may remain unused. For instance, conflicts getting solved too quickly, not leaving much room for tension or emotion to unfold.
