It's a kick-ass ship! But well, I'd also take a rowing boat. Anything just not those Walderon arrest cells.

Hahaha peace mongering being a terrible thing , different planet indeed!

I love how after all the hard evidence presented it must still be some sort of conspiracy to make them soft lol. Still i suppose you can never know, it does sound outrageous xD

Optimized as a warrior race back then in the days of wars, they really hate "peace mongering".

There's always a reason out there somewhere to doubt stuff, if you can't find any, then you can still invent one. Anyways, the Walderon citizens have their reasons to not trust people from any of the other planets.

Usually, the warnings given by time-travelers are often ignored until it's way too late...

Warnings being ignored, it's always like that, right? See Emmerich movies. See various doomsday movies in general. See "the perfect pest" ;)

If The Perfect Pest ever has a sequel, I guess some time travel element will have to be included :)

Why is the Chief Commander appearing only on the screen? Is it to emphasise how important he is? Is it because he couldn't schedule a meeting in person? Or was it:

Chief Commander: Alright, now get the hazmat squad in and sterilise EVERYTHING! And the whole lot of you report to quarantine! Who knows what future germs these itinerants might be carrying?? And I'm far too important and busy to risk going down with something!

Or:

Chief Commander: Are they out of the building yet? Good riddance! ... *turns brightness back up on his own monitor* Chief Commander out! *turns off video link* ... *beats brow* Why... WHY am I so squeamish about eye injuries???? The horrors of battle are nothing to me, yet that horrid, swollen- *digs nails into his scars* EWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! X-P

Or:

Chief Commander: *turns off video link* Those idiots! They don't know what they are looking at! They'd never guess that I graduated top of my year from our top military academy, got direct entry into special forces, made captain within a year, was the youngest ever to attain the rank of general, passed every assessment with a perfect score! If they met me in person... they'd dismiss me because I'm a bit short, and would have to get my reviewing podium in to look them in the eye! Idiots! Using the video link just saves time that would be wasted with them gawping and sniggering, and... and... don't they realise I can give an order if I need something from a high shelf...? Or want someone slapped upside the head...? *marches off, ranting*

>:=)>

Probably, the 'peace mongering nonsense' wasn't worth his presence in person. Plus, why miss out the great opportunity to appear on the Huge Screen :P

Germs... that swollen eye... or both in combination, what kind of nasty infection is *that*? o.O

Well, that's just how it is right? The dictator just must be bigger than everyone else around. ..so when two dictators meet.....

C'mon, man! Look at this face. Has he an innocent looking?
("What's next, aliens?" Almost there!).
It's brilliant! We, the readers, know more than the characters and it increased the tension. Smart way to use Hitchcock's principles!

The chief commander is just listing anything sensational nonsense he can think about at the moment. But yes, we already actually got the time gate, the time traveler, perhaps also the exploding planets, so maybe there will be aliens too at some point ? o.O

"significant significance" cute ;)

"Peace Monger" is a better title than "Fish Monger", at least.

I love that 80's Mad Scientist vibe you got going on that dude in the bottom left panel! Kind of makes me want to go out and buy goggles! heh

Significant significance-
Stuff like that happens so easily when getting nervous ;D

Peace mongering > Fish mongering
According to the walderon guys, both are pretty fishy o.O

Mad scientist-
:))
..a Walderon scientist has to be a mad one in order to stay sane ;)
