"Playing with your food" is out, "food playing with itself" is the thing now. D:

What, this Luck? Who later appears like this? She looks like she'd have an eye for human flesh, but she'd probably want Kobolt to share...

Kobolt: Not happening. You can eat this instead. *hands Luck a Hoppel Poppel robobunny* Carry on, Ferros.

Ferros: Yes, Great Leader. Alright, in this box are four packets of instant seasoning. The one who picks the Great Leader's favourite gets to be dinner! Choose wisely... heheheheheheheh!

"*hands Luck a Hoppel poppel"-
Now that's what I call tough luck..

(The style looks familiar.. Yes, that's what I thought, the artist/author of Prague race. Must check it out, looks awesome. And... pirates!)

I fear the rules themselves are rather trivial and boring, but well, the players may turn the whole thing into something quite entertaining. At least for those into that kind of entertainment o.O

Great panels :D "Luck will decide" Oh man she'll even let their lives be up to a "game" D:

I'm really curious now as well, "Happy Balls", a whimsical sounding name, but I have a feeling it will be deadly.

Yes, she really enjoys doing that. Games.

HappyBalls itself may not be so deadly. But well, the "reward" for the "winner".......

Well, that depends on who you ask ;)

Fun and happiness for those who watch, but for those who play.. probably not so much o.O

I bet Happy Balls is a fun and pleasant game where nothing bad could possibly happen :)

Who loses, dies. For me, this game is more than complicated. It has complications.

In a way, it *will* get complicated. And yes, that's for sure, serious complications, no doubt about that o.O

They're just prolonging the inevitable. A form of torture. The loser dies and the survivors what... get to live for a few more weeks or months?

Yes, most probably it will end that way. But they'll cling to the hope they will get rescued somehow..

I assume this is a game they probably can't win at.

One of them will lose. The other three may win... temporarily. Then they'll probably lose too.

But who knows, maybe something surprising will happen ..?

And my prediction ran true! So sad how often History repeats itself (not even just the fact that occurs). Very emotional panels, but (again) what else IS there to say?

The "us the cool guys versus them the losers" history. I fear our tribal nature is going to stay, no matter how civilized, it's still there under the surface. But yes, there are certainly more peaceful ways to deal with it than this.
