Not really surprisingly, his dad is not quite happy about that "high speed tunnel stunt".. ;)

--

I'm thinking about editing all pages I've done, then re-upload. The first 16 still have abysmal lettering, that is in dire need of improvement.

I also figured out that all pages are too pale, like "gray and white" instead of truly "black and white", so I'd like to adjust lighting accordingly. In contrast to the "font" thing, this shouldn't take much time do do.

But I haven't quite made up my mind yet, there may also be a downside with this type of change - when the page turns darker, there may be loss of finer gray scale nuances. So right now I'm wondering and pondering

I'll probably make my decision next week.

--

Edit (March 1): Decision made, and done - All pages are darker now. Took a while to do, because of additional clean-up, and I improved the lettering as well.

Wow, Pete is magical.;D
He sure does see a lot of fun things...And he talks about it so calmly! I'm guessing he'll be rather useful with the whole upcoming end of the world...

I saw that thread! Personally I think it looks just as amazing either way.:D

Yeah... the upcoming end of the world... Time is running out pretty soon... But yay we've got Magic-Pete.

Thanks. It means a lot to hear this :D
I'll probably settle for the darker versions, or something in between, or perhaps a combination.

Oh yes. In many ways.

Like, all those bets in sports, who'll win the next match. Lot's of money to gain there. But Pete's not that type of guy.. ;)

Pete, you could make a lot of money with foresight power!
But then again you'd probably ruin a lot of suprises in life, that suprise party...I knew about it; that gift you are going to give me...I know it is a pair of socks.

Money money money! Foreseeing is indeed a quite successful business on Kordinar.

But yeah, the downsides... Sports events, already knowing the outcome, that stinks. There he has been looking so forward to the next thrilling match of Super Base Bowl Ball, and then this ...not even a spoiler warning tag! D:

Foreseeing things I think would be the most handy power. If you could control it.

Too bad he can't. But maybe he can train it, somehow..?

Lots of very expressive eyes on this page. Love it!

Button eyes. Everywhere. :D

I'm often struggling with eyes, nice to hear that the expressions worked out. Many times, the eyes just look "dead" when I draw them, I have to retry a lot before I get it right.

I fear he has something else in mind though ;)

I'm with his dad on this one.

The only downside I can think of with reference to redoing pages is that it may interrupt an awesome forward momentum you have going. The upside is that if something is bugging you about those pages, it becomes like an itch that has to be scratched.

I'm pretty sure this won't be construed as "Lucas-izing".

I think I can only agree with that ;)

Fortunately, the redoing pages thing will not affect the upload schedule. In general, line art will be darker (quickly done in photoshop), lettering improved on the first 16 pages, then the clean up on those since I did a rather sloppy job there. Some text will be reworded. Most of all this is already done.

xD. Ha ha, no, no major changes. No CGI animations of dinosaurs or goofy creatures trudging around.

To paraphrase the Oracle, would Alph have crashed if Pete didn't have one of his visions? XD
I really like the lighter pencil drawings btw.

Hard to say, it *is* quite possible that Pete just distracted him. If Pete didn't yell at him, Alph might have been able to react sooner and not get injured. (?)

Is there any particular reason why you like the lighter ones better? Should I decide to make the images overall darker, I may still be able to keep the things you appreciate in the lighter versions.
