Our heroes move on..

I figured this was a nice opportunity to present the four planets somewhat more. Alph's talk at college was sort of informative, but not really that much ;)

The news spreads...wonder how everyone will react and if what we learn will effect how we perceive the story we've already witnessed!

Also I'm always interested in scifi engineering and your designs just gets me to want to talk to the architects/engineers xD

I hope the experience will be more intense, when knowing more about the planets in advance. Like, the shocking news about Anvil will be even more shocking, the Coldaron-Walderon cold war more present in the readers' minds, and maybe most of all, the continuation of the time traveler storyline in the soon to come #4 will be more enjoyable when his background is already shown.

Scifi designs are great fun to do, particularly when it comes to varying the architecture or style from planet to planet, each of them having their own distinct "feel".

I'd be the same way too, to get away and not stick around and see who is destroying everything.

I appreciate you listing the number of days a year is on Coldaron. I've read a few other sci-fi webcomics who don't take the different time/consideration when they site a year/week on a different planet. I usually wonder, okay how long is that really?

Oh yes. And that knowledge is pretty pointless anyway when one's not going to survive anyway to tell.

Yes, days, years, etc are important to get right. I can understand when a week (a cultural construct) is the same on every planet, provided the populations are of the same origin. But days or years, which depend on rotation and orbiting duration, obviously they just can't be the same everywhere.

371 days huh, cool.:)
It's awesome seeing Coldaron and Walderon a bit more!

It's cooler than 365 days, I always feel like there are somewhat too few days in a year :P

Yes, I realized it would serve the comic well to show more of those two planets early on.

Thank :))
Yes, that's what I'm aiming for, showing (as part of the plot development) what the different cultures/leaderships are like.

True, I like a visit to all the planets involved. A great main character is important, but excellent support can really gel a story together. Funny how they are actually concerned, whereas we sit here on Earth thinking 25 years is so long, especially insofar as destruction is concerned...

I heard somewhere - to understand someone you also need to know about the world they live in ;)

I guess it's because someone actually witnessed it (though one may still disbelieve what he said). Coldaron, the oldest of the planets (and the origin of all four planets' people) has a long history of almost-catastrophes, they've already got their lesson several times o.O

Women are more likely to have sex with men that have large facial scars but less likely to marry them.

The sex appeal of the badass guys, where scars show that they've been through a lot and survived all that. Marry them? Maybe, maybe not. If they're bad guys- may be cool to dream about but too much trouble in real ;)
